...I have to bring you up to date again.

Unfortunately I had an accident in the garden on 25 July and injured my ankle pretty badly. I had an operation on the same day where the outer ankle was plated and the inner ankle was fixed with two long screws, looks pretty scary 🤪

After that, I was in plaster for six weeks and couldn't walk, which really got on my nerves. Being forced to do nothing in summer is really tedious. After the six weeks in plaster, only partial weight bearing for a fortnight and then slowly full weight bearing with physiotherapy. I'm slowly getting back on my feet, but it's still pretty exhausting. My ankle still swells up a bit when I'm walking around, so I have to keep taking breaks on the sofa 🤪

I'm glad that the worst is behind me and I'm happy about every little success I achieve. I'll be able to go to rehab in November at the latest, when hopefully everything will be back to normal. It would be great if everything was ok again by Christmas - my wish for Christmas 🎄.

I've been passing the time reading, doing puzzles and using my drawing pad. I've created a lot of new pictures, the portfolio is slowly filling up and I've just finished the last one.

I'm having fun with it and still have enough ideas in my head.
