...is the most beautiful time of the year for me. For me, sticking my fingers into the earth means recharging my batteries. Everything grows and thrives, in the whole garden it smells of the blossoms of the various flowers and shrubs. The water bubbles and splashes - also a favorite of mine - in the whole garden are small basins distributed in which it quietly splashes away. The fellow inhabitants, such as bees, dragonflies, many species of beetles, especially ladybugs. We have praying mantises, stag beetles, even the alpine longhorn beetle has moved in with us and many more insects. Our pairs of titmice Harry and Maggy as well as Franzl and Sissi, which breed twice a year in our garden. Not to forget our hedgehog Hugo, who makes his rounds every evening. In the ponds frogs, crested newts and all kinds of small animals cavort.

At the moment many baby frogs are on the way, they leave the water and discover the big wide world. From time to time you can see Berta the toad, if you are lucky.

A paradise, our own little universe, I am just now, in times of Corona, war and division of society, again really aware of how important this oasis is.
